About Us

Kim is a graduate of the Virginia School of Cosmetology. She began her career there 15 years ago. Kim attended Graham Webb International Academy of Hair for advanced training with men and women haircutting techniques, special event styles and specialized training in hair coloring. Kim's education has continued at the world renowned Framesi Color College where she perfected her corrective hair coloring skills. Kim's love of the industry has motivated her to expand her career to include Spa services. She received specialized training at the Conservatory of Esthetics.

Kim's goal as a salon owner is to create a warm and professional atmosphere for clients and staff to enjoy. She wants her clients to have a wide variety of unique services to experience. As a master stylist she enjoys creating an individual look for each client that fits them and their lifestyle.

Through advanced training and hair shows, Kim and her staff continue to learn new and exciting techniques to best service their clients. Kim feels her clients deserve only the best!!!

Katy graduated from Powhatan High School with an emphasis on Cosmetology I & II. Katy has over four years of experience and has been with Styles for five years. She specializes in cuts, color, and ear piercing. She focuses on keeping up with the newest trends in hair, make-up, and fashion and hopes to bring that to the salon.

Katy's favorite part of her job is meeting interesting new people every day and being able to say that she helped someone feel good about themselves. She says that everyone is so nice and they make you feel comfortable and welcome. Katy attends college courses while maintaining her career at Styles.

Styles' would like to welcome the a new face to our professional team. Lisa hails from Burlington, NC and has 16 years of styling experience. As a Master Stylist, her specialty includes men's, women's and children's haircuts. Lisa's commitment to impecable haircuts and complete customer satisfaction makes her a perfect match for our salon.

Sandy Harding is Styles' Awesome Master Esthetician. Don't underestimate the word "Master". She has a tremendous amount of knowledge about the skin. Sandy attended Bioelements Conservatory of Esthetics and specializes in anti-aging skin care treatments and acne treatments for all skin types, as well as makeup application. Sandy joined our great Styles team 7 years ago. She has been a great asset to the Salon and Spa. Sandy also coordinates all wedding parties. She enjoys working with the brides and helping them plan their Special Wedding Day. Sandy's favorite part of her job is sharing one on one information about the benefits of skin care along with helping clients see improved skin and feeling good about themselves.

Dottie has been in the medical field for over twenty years. In 2001, she became nationally certified in therapeutic massage and body work. She maintains national certification through continuing education and is licensed through the Virginia Board of Nursing. She is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Body treatments Dottie specializes in are swedish, therapeutic, sports, pregnancy, chair massage. She also offers reflexology, herbology body retexturizing treatments and healing touch massage.

Dottie enjoys sharing with her clients the benefit of massage.
